I have lived in Blewbury with my family for 15 years and in the local area for 30. I am currently the Autism Team Coordinator for West Berkshire Council which means leading a team delivering training and supporting schools and families with autistic children across mainstream primary and secondary schools. I am also the autism advisory teacher for West Berkshire secondary schools.
In my career I have taught across the whole age range and was a teacher of English for many years as well as a Head of Year and Head of House. I have also spent several years teaching in a Pupil Referral Unit.
I attend St. Michaels’ Church in Blewbury, am on the PCC and sing in the church choir.
I have previous years of local governor experience and I am now very appreciative of the opportunity to contribute to the Blewbury school community as a foundation governor.
