Ofsted Report

We are extremely pleased with the outcome of our inspection, which took place in May. The first sentence of the report ‘pupils are proud of their inclusive and caring school’ absolutely reflects our ethos and vision for Blewbury school.
I am incredibly proud of the staff team and would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their hard work and dedication; and to the governors for supporting the school on its improvement journey. I am delighted with the way the pupils articulated and showed our values to the inspectors, who particular commented to us on how respectful and tolerant they were of each other’s views and differences.
Achieving a rating of outstanding for our Early Years provision is testament to the ‘excellent start’ the children experience here and how this ensures they will flourish.
The development points that have been noted in the report had already been identified by leaders in the school and are being addressed. We do not see this report as a finishing point, but rather the next step in our journey.
