We are proud of how smart our children look in their school uniforms.  We have chosen a school uniform because we believe that:

  1. School uniforms nourish a sense of equality. When children have similar expectations for dress, unhealthy competitive feelings about looks are reduced. Children can shine because of their character and not their clothes.
  2. School uniforms promote a feeling of community. At Blewbury, we believe our school dress should complement our ethos and culture. We are preparing our children for success at secondary school and beyond. We want our children to have a proper expectation of professionalism and how to dress appropriately for different activities. When our children wear uniforms, they feel included in the team.
  3. School uniforms make it easier to get ready for school. One of the best reasons for school uniforms – No more indecision about what to wear in the morning!
  4. School uniforms are more affordable. At the beginning of the school year, our families typically purchase two sets of uniforms for each of their children. Our chosen supplier Goodies, provide durable options that stand up to repeated washing and wear. Parents may need to replace an item or two throughout the year; however, this is often due to children growing up so fast. Overall, our families save money with uniforms by not having to keep up with the latest fashion trends.

During the summer, your child may chose to wear a red summer dress.

Further Information

  • Book bags, PE bags and Rucksacks are available to purchase with a school logo.
  • Jewellery is not permitted.  If ears are pierced then a single stud may be worn as long as it is removed or covered during PE.
  • Watches may be worn during the school day but must be removed for P.E.
